Tiarella cordifolia “Running Tapestry” (heartleaf foamflower)

A wonderful woodland ground cover for a moist location. Delicate white flowers in May, and handsome leaves all season. Spreads by runners and/or rhizomes to cover the ground quickly. Fairly dense cover, but shallow roots allow it to share space with ferns and spring ephemerals, so it can help create a ground tapestry in a moist, shady area.
