A dainty but easy-to-grow woodland plant. Its leaves, which resemble the leaves of a columbine, are attractive all season. Sprays of yellow-green blooms are held above the leaves in May. The whole plant is only about 18" tall. Wood rue likes soils rich in organic matter, with average moisture. It does not spread and grows well with other non-aggessive wildflowers.
