Hypericum prolificum (shrubby St. John's wort)

This beautiful 3' to 4' shrub will be buzzing with bees during the whole of its long bloom season July-September. It is native to New York but considered threatened, so you can help bring it back by adding some to your garden. Can adapt to a range of sunlight and moisture conditions, is generally pest-free and unpalatable to deer.
