This is the Joe-Pye weed to use in partial shade. A dramatic 7-foot plant with big pink-purple blooms in early fall that attract butterflies. Great companion plant for cutleaf coneflower at the edge of a woodland, or as the focal point of a semi-shade garden. Sweet Joe-pye weed grows in sun or partial shade and average to moist soil conditions. It blooms in September.
