Hot pink blooms in the summer shade on 2' to 4' upright stems. Pink turtlehead's native range is the southern Appalachians where it grows in moist woodlands near streams. It has become a popular garden plant for the burst of color it gives at a time of year when shade gardens are mostly green. Will also grow in the sun with sufficient moisture.
