Cherokee sedge is a short, versatile sedge that spreads slowly to form a dense ground cover over time. Its native habitat is moist shade, but with sufficient moisture it can also handle sun. It grows 6"-12" high and is semi-evergreen. Tough, hardy, adaptable to different soil types as long as it gets some moisture.
