Asclepias incarnata (rose milkweed)

Happiest in wet meadows and boggy places in full to part sun, but also tolerant of average well-drained soils. This beautiful pink milkweed provides food and habitat for a range of insects and serves as host plant for the monarch butterfly. Plants have deep taproots and are best left undisturbed once established. Plants are not palatable to deer.
