Asarum canadense (wild ginger)

This low ground cover prefers moist, partly shaded locations. Interesting brown flowers can be found under the leaves in spring. Wild ginger mixes well with other woodland plants and is good under a tree or shrub. Grows to 6", and will spread fairly quickly.
